Lord of Admirals' 2014 Halo Lore Q&A
Most of you might not remember, but last summer, I did a big Q&A of Halo lore. So, I thought I'd make this an annual occurrence around E3.
Basically, if you want to test my knowledge of Halo lore or want something in Halo's story explained, ask it here!

1 ReplyI have a theory. What if Ben Giraud, AND Master Chief accidentally caused this revolution to flare up in the outer colonies? With Ben exposing the truth and the Chief [u]supposedly[/u] shooting up the peace conference on Biko, I think that they BOTH caused this revolution. The Chief's actions were the lighter and then Ben's actions were the spark that set off the powder keg.

2 RepliesI have a quick question that I don't think has an actual answer as of yet. The Ur-Didact was composed in the Escalation comics, however according to the Ur-Didact himself he is supposed to be immune to being composed like John. We know that even though John is immune he was still affected by the composer in Halo 4, so the only thing I can think of is that since the Ur-Didact was around multiple composers that it just overwhelmed him. What are your thoughts about this?

If that's the case, will the Covenant and the Prometheans use that opportunity to strike humanity when it's most vulnerable? So many questions, so little answers! This is making me even more hyped for Halo 5!!!

4 RepliesIn Halo CE on the level "Pilar of Autumn" there is a computer system that reads "john 117" and is lit up in a green light. Right next to that it says "Linda 058" and is displayed in red. Was Linda supposed to be on the PoA? Sorry I haven't really read the books all that much

Anyway, was that the first time Cortana was inserted into Chief or was that the first time Cortana was manning the Pilar of Awesome and she made a comparison? 2) on the level "Halo" in Halo one, what is that forerunner structure that shoots energy into the sky? 7 RepliesIt was nether really explained if the flood infestation on and around Delta Halo was destroyed, I know the Gravemind was destroyed along with the rest of the flood on High Charity an The Ark, but that flood infested cruiser that slipped into Earth at the of The Storm mission in Halo 3 raises questions. Are there other infested ships drifting through space, and was Delta Halo surface glasses by the Fleet of Retribution to destroy the local infestation when they had the ring on quarantine or is it still under quarantine. It would be much appreciated Lord Of Admirals if you could delve deep into thus topic, Cheers M8

I know I stopped around the time Greg Bear's Forerunner book trilogy thing was announced, so in order to catch up, where do you reccomend I start? And in what order for books, and other content.

List of what I haven't read: Halo: Cole Protocol Halo: New Blood Halo: Broken Circle Halo: The Flood I think there's another one but I can't think of it at the moment. HUNT the TRUTH is really starting to heat up!! But, the question is, what r these slipspace anomalies that everybody keeps on mentioning about? What's the cause of them? Could it be a Covenant fleet gathering or could it be something far worse? I'm talking Forerunners, Flood, or Precursors. What do u think?

9 RepliesSo I'm watching through halo lore videos in my free time and I've come across one that includes the gravemind talking with chief, the arbiter and the monitor. The monitor mentions that that particular installation has a success rate of 'X' trillion simulated and one actual. So that installation had been fired in the past? The only novel I've read is fall of reach which didn't touch on any of that I don't think. I was always under the impression that the proper firing of a halo destroyed the halo. That's obviously not right. So my question is, how many halos have been fired in the past?
