Rules and regulations for members

These are the rules thus far... 1. You are a member of Offtopic Lounge, as a member you are allowed to post on the group forum and the group wall. 2. Group wall and group forum rules require that you behave, be nice, and be open to what people have to say. This is a safe community and you will keep it safe. A warning will be given to you if don't behave. The warning is a sign for you to stop doing whatever you were doing. If you fail to heed this warning and continue on, you will receive an hour ban. 3. Members are not allowed to post porn, slam people's religious beliefs, gender slam, or slam people's sexual beliefs. Offtopic Lounge encourages Intellectual conversations and arguements. You are allowed to discuss as long as you are trying to state your reasons or prove a point. Most likely, if someone other than you is getting offended then you have gone to far and need to stop. Any members that receive a warning from an admin and decide to not heed it will be banned for the hour. 4. You are allowed to talk about other members, but rude comments and direct assaults on another user will be taken as an offense and you will recieve a warning from an admin. If you fail to heed this warning, you will receive an hour ban. 5. As an adult in this chat, you must come to terms that sometimes having the last word is not okay. If you feel you are being attacked by another user, please don't feed into it. It only causes more confusion for the admins watching the chat. Self defense is okay, as long as you don't take it far. Arguing back with your attacker excessively will only get you in trouble as well. Equal punishment will be given if you decide to flame your attacker back excessively. A warning will be given to users who attack others. If the warning is not heeded, then an hour ban will be issued. 6. No copy pastas or walls of text please. You may refresh chat, however. 7. No political disputes please, as much as everyone wants to talk these talks can lead to bad blood. Politcial talks are justifiable as long as you can discuss and argue peacefully and effectively. Any politcal talks seen disrupting the group wall and making others feel uncomfortable will be taken as an offense and you will receive a warning from an admin followed after by an hour ban if you decide to continue. 8. No bullying will occur in this group under [b]any[/b] circumstance. Bullying will be taken as a direct offense and you will be banned from the group by an admin for an hour. 9. LFG's are not allowed in this group. 10. Here in the Lounge, private matters stay private no matter what. If you have beef with another user, please PM them instead of openly posting something on the wall or forums. 11. Please no pejorative terms or sexual terms, words like N*gga, fgt, cum, and any other sexual terms should not be said in chat. A warning will be given to you if you say any of these words, followed after by a one hour ban. [b]All offenses besides bullying get a single warning before the ban.
