How to edge your faction before the update...

As everyone prepares for the launch of Rise of Iron some of you may want to edge your factions. The first step is to rank up with your faction to receive a reward package. DO NOT ACCEPT the package. Then edge your faction until just before you rank up again and you are free to leave the faction. Yes, your reward package will still be there waiting for you even if you switch factions. So here is what I did, on MONDAY I ranked up with New Monarchy and did not accept the package. Then I edged the faction to as far as I could without gaining another rank. Tuesday I switched to Future War Cult and will edge this faction on this Monday before the reset. I will do the same technique this week and switch to my main faction until the 19th when I will edge Dead Orbit. What this does is essentially give you 2 faction packages with easy access to when you want as soon as the new DLC hits. I will start Rise of Iron with Dead Orbits 2 packages but will also have 4 packages waiting for me at NM and FWC. I hope this helps Guardians. https://youtu.be/encHUFgqbGc -JeepsDirty
