We're not a strict clan, but we do have some guidelines that, if not adhered to, could result in you being politely asked to leave the clan.
1. We play like adults. I'm not going to set an age limit for the clan. The reason for this is that I've played with some 13 year olds that not only act respectively in game, but are also great assets to have on your team. I've also played with some 20 something year olds that can be rather annoying. If you're younger, keep in mind that some of us are nearing or over 30. One day (if not already) we might even have 50+ gamers in our group. If someone in the game asks you to stop talking about a topic not game related, even if you think it is fine conversation, it is more than likely that you are annoying the older guys. Have the maturity to know that that means you should keep quiet about that topic. If childish behaviour continues, you will be asked to leave.
2. Most of us have families. Those families refer to wives/husbands, kids, etc. If someone needs to leave for 5 minutes to quickly sort something out, it is ok. It isn't the end of the world to wait for 5 minutes. Someone might also have to leave with short notice in the middle of something, understand that that is the case. This leads into number 3.
3. If you know you might have to leave in an hour, don't commit to something that will take 2+ hours. You would think this is obvious, but experience has shown me it isn't.
4. This clan is not limited to South Africans, but keep in mind that most of us in it are from South Africa. This brings with it 2 different points. Firstly, if we're raiding, a South African should be given preference to host. This will ensure that most of the party has low pings. Secondly, load shedding is a reality here, and if someone suddenly has their power cut, please understand.
5. Bad language is tolerated, but please don't abuse it. We're adults, and we can swear. This doesn't give you an excuse to abuse it. This will come down to individual players, however, and if a player asks you to watch your language, and you are being excessive, please be polite enough to watch your language.
6. Have fun. I'm putting it here because I want people to remember that we play to have fun. If you don't play to have fun, this might not be the right clan for you.
