  • Mission Statement

    Anyone with an interest in riddling is welcome. 1) Be respectful of others in the group wall. (We'd love it if you respected others outside the wall as well, however.) 2) No LFG or Spam of any kind in the group wall, unless specified by an admin (There should be an LFG post of some sort in the private section of this group's forum. If not, it's coming soon.) 3) We are here for riddling, so try to keep the chat as focused as possible on riddling-related conversation. If the chat is dead, meaningless chatter is okay, just don't clutter the chat with non-riddling things if someone is seeking feedback or the like. 4) If you aren't sure that a riddle will be well-received or you think the riddle may be faulty for whatever reason, ask me (Cadence) or an admin to review it (we have a rep to uphold, can't be shoveling out faulty riddles). I promise we won't guess, and if someone does, I'll kick them myself.

Riddle of Warring Kin

Hello Forums! It's me back with another riddle, this time with help from Spicer. He will be helping me answer you guesses. For this riddle, I [i]will not[/i] accept blind guesses. You must provide at least some reason as to why you guessed what you did; nothing too in depth is needed ________________________________________ Who/What am I? One of few, few of many. Come to us, reside where you shall be protected. Enjoy my hospitality, for it is my best quality. My unbroken might shall be your salvation, my endless guard your confidence. Many have followed me, away from our solitude, when five came after six. Fight under the watch of my kin and his, for I am no more. The wolves have gone the way I have, lost to time. [b]Hint 1[/b]: Though the answer exists now, it gets more lore in TTK [b]Hint 2[/b]: As the time of gold retreated, I saw what pursues such gold. As I saw others fall, I began to realize what my true purpose was, what I was meant to do. I became a symbol of hope, and created one myself. One that would withstand time, even if I did not... [b]Hint 3[/b]: My fires are warm and gentle, my rage easily sated, my spear points the way. We once stood tall and united, no force could topple us. But our lusts for power led to our fall. Now, only one remains, yet he stands as tall as we once did.
