Tell me your most embarrassing or funny tale of how you said something that you immediately regretted, whether because a certain person heard you or it sounded better in your head.

Screaming out "YES" after the girl I liked broke up with "him"

Was talking to a girl in class. Moved a distance away from her to work with a different partner. Kept talking. Realised that everyone else now knows about everything i've broadcasted across the room to her in the past twenty seconds. I mentally kick myself for things like this.

My friend and I were chilling after a long summer vacation, and he asked me what I was up to, and me, as a joke, said "dude, I've been watching a shitload of midget porn." AS A JOKE And his father heard me. Gr8 first impression, if I do say so myself.

Well yesterday I said to one of my friends that my maths lecturer reminds me of Bilbo Baggins...as he was standing beside me.
-
Few months ago my friend was talking about vaginas with our sheltered friend, he asked what roast beef was and my friend responded, loudly, "It's a flabby vagina" 2 teachers were standing directly behind him, and his face actually went red. They always give him a look in the hall now.

I went on the Internet and expected people to be logical, and attempt to see things from another point of view. I keep making this mistake... ( •-•)

Edited by Woupsea: 2/10/2015 1:36:48 AMMe walking up behind my history teacher, who was pretty short and kind of a small guy, and then saying to him whilst under the impression that he was a student since all I could see was the back side of him " man mr smith is such a fućkin douche!". Then he turned around and never spoke a word to me again.

Edited by xRADIOACT1V3x: 2/7/2015 12:36:37 AMIn like, grade 4-5 a cop visited our school to talk about what to do when confronted by strangers. And she asked me to stand in the front of the class and state what to do when confronted by someone... My exact words: "Kick him in the nuts" I still think that's a better answer than "Scream and run" if I'm a 8 year old and some 40 year old drives up to tell me to get in his van I'm not trying to outrun the guy, he has a -blam!-ing car. But if he gets out to grab me, I think the logical thing to do would be kicking him in the nuts and THEN running.

Probably talking to my mates in school and saying "Fuck off you cunt" (jokingly) to one of them then turning round and seeing a teacher standing behind me.
-
Calling my best friend a douchebag not knowing his aunt was behind us. She made me look it up. He then told me "yeah I called my brother that last thanksgiving and she made me look it up too" Mind you this was 5th grade and he hit me with a blue shell in Mario Kart 64

I once yelled "Holy Shit!!!" out loud in class in the 3rd grade. My teacher didn't flinch but my classmates giggled like crazy.

I once said "god I'm so hard" out loud on accident during a funeral (there was booty in front of me) and everyone looked at me. :(

Two older kids were eating lunch once and one said to the other "whats good my -blam!-" me being my 13 year old self said "good and you my -blam!-
-
"We'll just split a few Gs. It'll be fine" Followed by so much cringe. Don't do drugs kids.
-
I was 9 and we were playing "Jeopardy" in homeroom (Just a bunch of random questions about anything at all). The teacher asked a question and I gave the wrong answer... then I kept repeating that wrong answer until she gave in. Looking back it's a little embarrassing, but I'll get over it.
-
I had some weird tree nut-things I found in my pocket that I forgot about. I got out of the car and they fell out and I immediately yelled out "No! I lost my nuts!" I didnt think much about it until someone started laughing nearby. I laughed too though. I really didnt mean to yell it as loud as I did... I just didnt want to lose my nut-things...

Coworker's fiancé broke it off with her and she's had a miscarriage in the past. My idiot self made the idiotic remark "At least you have a job! :D" *facedesk facedesk facedesk facedesk*

Edited by DogChamp: 2/7/2015 4:37:04 AMI remember being in a car with my family, I forget how old I was. My brother and someone else were talking about a "funny" TV show, I butted in and said "yah, an their yellow!" It turns out they were talking about the flintstone. I was embarrassed, it was probably the stupidest thing I ever said, that I can think of at the moment.
I thought they were taking about the Simpsons.
