Why are players quitting Destiny?
What do you guys think of this!? I've been noticing a HUGE decline in my friends who play Destiny still! Most of my REAL LIFE friends all stopped playing except me and others whom I met online have quit as well! Two of my old clans have vanished! My friends list slashed in half!
EDIT: out of my old clan and 182 friends on PSN, all of which used to play destiny, there are 72 online and 2 of them are playing Destiny! So if this trend continues its going to be slim pickens! I feel like its getting worse by the day! **[b]PLEASE BUMP THIS UP[/b] so Bungie will see this!***
Why do you think players are quitting? Do you know of anyone else who has quit? Chime in let us know why you will quit playing or not? Cheers!

I have no more exotics to hunt for, and I have full raid sets. Crucible is horrible in its current meta (though I like it when nobody is using Thorn/TLW). Thus, there is nothing to do.

Have all but one exotic and bored of game. Been playing eso lot more fun and more to do.

1 ReplyWhen u have everything and there's no end reward I'm not as excited to play. Same for everyone. Only thing I do now is crucible, even that is so leggy it's fun but frustrating at the same time. There's nothing left to do, y raid when u have everything from the raid maxed. Y care about end rewards or xur when u have all the exotics. Destiny is losing its players because of lack of content, and poor pvp servers that don't hold strong enough to keep players around.(hardcore lag, poor matchmaking).

2 RepliesOnly have 1 friend that still plays consistently. I now play on Tuesdays to help him do nightfalls....that's it. Bungie gave us a Beta of a game, then under-delivered on the DLCs and various other things. Now they want us to pay $40 for TTK? No way! I tired of being a sale for Bungie. They don't care about players anymore. I know. Been here since Halo 2, and now I've lost all faith. Once Halo 5, Fallout 4 and Star Wars drop, I won't look back.

For the people on my friends list it was hands down the lack of raid in HoW. I mean, no sane person would pick up Destiny for PvP and the daily PvE activities arent that great so the raids are what makes Destiny special.

3 RepliesHere's the deal: People no longer trust Bungie. They have lied to the community over and over. Each DLC has been worse and worse. What started off as a fantastic game has become less and less original and more of a boring grind. Bungie insists that the players are not playing the game "properly". Each generation of weapons continue to decline in quality and playability. Slowly but surely, Bungie has been draining the "fun" out of the game. The PvP has become a nightmare, especially on PS4. The lag and cheating are out of control, with nary a word from Bungie on what they are going to do to fix it. Many people have found more fun options to this game. And it continues...

1 ReplySame thing has happened to my friends list, and I'm one of those people who is giving the game a break. I still love the game, but its just played out for me at this point. Good time for a little break to play other games. Been playing Witcher III, Batman, Mortal Kombat, and so forth. I will be back on Destiny when it gets content I haven't beaten 15 million times.

1 ReplyThe time inbetween dlcs, this dlc was to much to fast, and i beat it all in 2 weeks. TTK will hopefully be like Vanilla Destiny, extremely fun, and extremely challenging. And telporting Titans in the Gold Banner doesn't help either.

No trust in Bungie. Destiny only has a couple of things going for it, good basic game play mechanics and........oh crap is only one thing, damn.

It happens. A couple months after a dlc comes out you'll always see a decline. Plenty of people will be back for ttk though.

Crucible lag is pretty bad, matchmaking doesn't respect your time and will use you to fill out a losing game if you solo queue, cheaters are still able to cheat in trials. Don't mind if these things are tough to fix but to not even address them means they probably are not even thinking about them. Still play all the time though =]
