crux of crota only drops when fully upgraded eidolon ally equiped?

1 ReplyI got it last week. The only requirement is that you are part of a fireteam that kills Crota on Hard difficulty. You do NOT need need the husk of the pit/eidolon ally. I know folks who have multiple crux but not a husk of the pit. You don't need to be wearing Glowhoo.

That's not true. I don't even have eidolon, but I have the crux.

Hell no. I've done a normal mode run, the a hard mode run and still got the Crux when killed Crota. It's just random.

None of it is true just another random drop. I've gotten 3 under a multitude of circumstances

Nope. Don't have to even have the husk. But personally I have gotten 2 and both times I was wearing a full set of raid armor, and Glowhoo. Not sure if there's anything to it, just an observation.

No got two last night in back to back raids. Had the husk in the vault unleveled. Was not wearing the shader on either character. Nothing special equipped, just beat crota plain and simple

I have 2 crux of Crota drop for me and I didn't even level my husk yet, it's still sitting in my vault with the crux. I'll probably level it if they buff it but I heard it's weak and I don't like auto rifles

Don't let all the necrohoarders lie to you. Not only do you need the ally equipped, you need to down crota with it. They want all the crux of Croats for themselves.

2 Repliesno - mine was in the vault getting dusty when I got the crux - put the crux in - then shot for 1/2 hour - put back - dusty again - stupid gun - hope has some purpose in HOW expansion - would make it seem worthwhile

nope. I got a crux and didn't even have an EA. I actually dismantled it about 2 days prior to receiving the crux. but since the Necrochasm sucks I wasn't worried about it. You also don't need to have Glowhoo equipped, I wasn't wearing that shader when I got the crux.

When I get my 2 crux my eidolon what's on an other character and fully upgraded.
