I suppose technically you can call it one.. But in the terms of FPS games traditional style sniping is probably the most ineffective and time consuming play style you could choose from except maybe meleeing everything.

Maybe so but people play how they enjoy, if we don't like it we leave. We can't expect them to conform to what we want so the only options are to get on with it and continue or just leave. I don't care how others play, the more I have to do the better

I don't see how someone can have fun being bad at the game. You're just sitting there looking down sight.. Not too exciting.

I don't know the snipers you have played with obviously but not every sniper is bad. Some prefer to be in the thick of it and others don't, to each their own

You can be out of "the thick of it" without being half a mile away sniping ontop of some small mountain.

Again that's their play style and it mirrors real life tactics. It may not be needed in a game but that's just the way some prefer it
