I don't play with randoms often, we normally have a full team, just sometimes we need 1-2 people to fill in to speed things up.
Most of the time we do the smart thing and have 2 people on supp duty and one activating the plate.
I give up on full random groups...

I am in the same position. I usually have a team of 3 or 4. I have found some really good random players though. I just check their weapons and armor and make sure they are equipped correctly.

Yeah honestly for 2 runs on crota we had 2 different randoms, did everything legit and almost everything on the 1st or second try. Was really smooth for playing with randoms.
