I know this for an absolute fact,
ICE BREAKER DOES NOT EQUATE TO SKILL!!!
I played in an atheon battle with a fireteam all 30+ with IB, and i swear it took 2 hours to beat atheon. They were constantly making noob mistakes. Bad players will be bad players regardless!!

Oracle problems? New players seem to be skipping the normal raid and jumping right into the hard raid. They should go do normal a few times and learn the raid plus hopefully it get epilogue or vision and then try the hard raid once they have the oracle disruptor perk.

This just flashed me back my nitemare raid team last night, my favorite tho: *atheon cp loads* *fireteam spawns* *atheon spawns* 10seconds later "GAURDIAN DOWN" WIPE Me: dont shoot atheon, just hide till he opens the teleport My team: ok we got this *atheon cp loads* *fireteam spawns* *atheon spawns* 10seconds later "GAURDIAN DOWN" *brings up ghost, holds Y, goes to orbit* Then ask myself: where the -blam!- do these people come from?!!!!

That is funny. Always 1 guy who blows hem selves up. Either jump up and out of the bubble to fire or stay in the back until you are out of rockets. I use the jumping method when playing with randoms because they rarely clear out all of the supplicants to make the back viable.

I don't play with randoms often, we normally have a full team, just sometimes we need 1-2 people to fill in to speed things up. Most of the time we do the smart thing and have 2 people on supp duty and one activating the plate. I give up on full random groups...

I am in the same position. I usually have a team of 3 or 4. I have found some really good random players though. I just check their weapons and armor and make sure they are equipped correctly.

Yeah honestly for 2 runs on crota we had 2 different randoms, did everything legit and almost everything on the 1st or second try. Was really smooth for playing with randoms.

I have no problem when people tell me they're new, or still learning, but if you act like you're experienced and doing Hardmode I would rather do it with 5 people.

Exactly!! So tired of getting lvl 31s who say they can do it, then were constantly wiping due to said lvl 31s
