My ice breaker is fully maxed 331 causing maximum damage. Hobgoblins below don't stand a chance. So I'll resume my sniping position a the top providing support for my team below.

I see nothing wrong with this. Why are people so quick to debate about a common sense strategy? Even at lvl 26 you can die easily from Hobgoblins and Minotaur (especially if they are majors). However on the Archon part it is IMHO unnecessary to snipe from the entrance ledge....but who am I to criticize someone who is actively fighting the boss. As long as you are doing damage that is all that matters.

You realize that a 331 does no more than 300 on a lvl 26 enemy?

Not really. A 300 attack Ice Breaker took 2 shots without precision to take out on goblin. A 331 Ice Breaker takes 1 shot even without precision.
