Lately, I've noticed that there are quite a few games, both exclusive and multiplatform, that utilize the PS4's unique features, and given how much investment Sony has put into this game, and how much exclusive items PlayStation users get, it's surprising that Destiny doesn't use these features... Like, at all.
I have a few suggestions that may remedy this. ( I apologize to Xone players, I'm not familiar with it's hardware other than knowing the Kinect camera was disabled to improve Destiny's performance)
-Use the DS4's built-in speaker: Dinklebot's dialogue seems like the perfect use of the DS4's speaker, but let's take it up a notch. All of the Ghost's sound effects (barring those when you send it out) and dialogue should come from the speaker. I.E. When you tap the touchpad to enter orbit, the sound effect plays through the controller.
Additionally, Eris's in-mission dialogue, as well as echoes of reloading and firing weapons, should play through it as well.
-Utilize Motion Controls: Starting off with the built in sensor, give us the option to turn our sparrow via tilting the controller left and right.
Also, let's see some full fledged Move support. I'm going to list this using the bumper control scheme, cuz that's the one I'm familiar with. All controls remain the same unless otherwise stated:
-Pull out ghost: Navigation controller's X button.
-Melee: Navigation controller's circle button
-Aim: Move controller.
-Fire: Move trigger
-Grenade: Move button
-Touch Pad utilization: Let us map consumables to directional swipes on the touch pad, to lesson the time spent jn menus.
-Better implementation of Sharing features: Streaming and taking screenshots seem to be all the rage nowadays, and Destiny lacks some common features found in other games. Let us disable our HUD and give us some options to enter third person and pan the camera around for more involved screenshots.
So, what do you say, do you want to see some of these things patched in?
