You're a fool if you don't see the usefulness in this gun. Sure, there are other more useful ways to utilize your exotic slot, but if you have legendaries than can compensate for any of your other exotics, the Multi Tool is heads above the majority. And yeah, you probably just don't know how to use it. It doesn't operate like a perfect scout rifle, although it is. It's more like an sub-automatic sniper rifle with less impact and an ACOG scope. It's a marksman rifle. Not a scout rifle. Scout rifle's are ranged versions of HandCannon's, essentially. For example, the Satierrene Rapier and the Badger CCL. Play from a distance. Utilize your tip...of the reticle. And don't be such a bitch. The gun's a beast. One of the best exotic primaries. Edit 1: Not to mention it has one of the most predictable and responsive recoils out of any gun.
