Afterwards, Chief joined up with Blue Team again, and went on mission after mission, refusing to take R&R.

Is that... The Ur-Didact? How? I thought he died.

Edited by Lord of Admirals: 1/4/2015 12:47:45 AMYup. At the end of Halo 4, the Didact fell into a slipspace portal. "Activity! Significant slipspace event building under the Composer!" -Cortana, Midnight, Halo 4

I thought that was just the Composer firing, I didn't think twice about it.

Edited by Lord of Admirals: 1/4/2015 3:15:12 AMYeah, the Composer was firing into the slipspace portal. Remember how in Spartan Ops Episode 2, Majestic talks about how Requiem was supposed to be clear of Prometheans? Well, that's because the Didact took the composed souls from New Phoenix and built more Prometheans at the Composer's Forge which he then sent back to Requiem.
-
Ahhhhh. I see now. But then why did the Didact go to Installation 03 instead of Requiem.
-
That's where the Composed Souls were being sent to, because that's where the Composer he used came from.. He then activated the the service portal to the Composer's Forge, which had Promethean factories.

I submit! I submit! You're the superior one...
