We want cross-gen Destiny!
It's time to allow cross gen for destiny! For so long players have been complaining that they can't play with their friends who haven't gotten next gen consoles or can't afford to. Bungie constantly says they are trying to build a community of togetherness and cooperation, why not let us play with our friends in the same console family?
I understand the argument about better hardware giving an unfair advantage but that advantage could very well be due to the TV the player is using and I think the benefits of being able to play with friends on older consoles far outweighs the negative aspects (are there any really??).
So c'mon Bungie, give the people what they want! Let me know what you think Guardians

5 RepliesNo this would be limiting ourselves and the games potential. The only solution is for the PS3 scrubs to burn their last gens and buy new or let them suffer. There is a reason they invented the PS4.....news flash but it's supposed to be better, it's not supposed to be anything like a PS3 junk technology. Stop living in the past and get a job if you don't have a couple hundred dollars

1 ReplyI don't understand the argument that people that are still playing 360/PS3 such as myself, should go ahead and upgrade because the new consoles have been out for a year. If these people wanted to and/or could afford to, don't you think they/we would have by now? And technically bungie doesn't have to keep supporting the previous generation. They choose to. Or maybe I'm dumb and don't get it.

Cross gen? Why not cross platform as well. I would love if everyone could come together and play. I think it would end this "PS4 masturbetter race" nonsense.

Crucible matchmaking would give us next-gen players an unfair advantage with better hardware

2 Replieswould love to be able to play with xbox one friends in destiny, bungie even said they could do it just wont due to something about pixels and unfair advantage in pvp. Still could allow cross play in pve tho, since that wont matter then.

I´d love to have Destiny for PC. It´s basically the only thing left I play on consoles...I´d be happy to have everything on my PC. Not saying that consoles suck I actually like them. But right now I spend more time on my PC apart from Destiny
