I've seen sooooo many posts about xbl and psn servers being down the last few days and people crying because they didn't get to log in for Xur and they should be "entitled" to compensation from Bungie for the down time...
I haven't experienced ANY down time so that says it was NOT Bungie's servers. It was on the xbl and psn side and apparently based on geographical location.
That being said, you've received enough "compensation" from Bungie in the form of Xur's presence being adjusted for a longer stay. Anything more than that would be greedy...

Everyone thinks they are entitled to something nowadays. No good deed goes unpunished...

Yes Bungie's response is appropriate, if the affected people want more compensation they should talk to their respective console's customer service reps
