Trigun Samurai X Cowboy Bebop Dragonball Z Blue Seed Gundam Wing/OO87 Tenchi series (not the recent but all the others) Just a few FINISHED animes. There's lot more like them but these have good stories and characters. Unfinished ones I'd recommend are Fairy Tail (my current addiction) and Naruto/Naruto Shippuden.
