I posted this as a reply so someone's comment about hunters requiring more skill to use, I thought that it'd be interesting to see how such an accusation is defended.

I've played both hunter and warlock, seen what they both have to offer and I just don't see how hunters can see themselves as superior in any way. Hunters are designed to be killing machines, titans are designed to take as many bullets as they can and warlocks are designed to support both classes to the best of their ability. What I'm saying is that people rag on warlocks because they're infamous for pushing atheon off countless times, yet all classes have the ability to do something that is regarded as "cheesing" that I see as unfair. In relation to hunters requiring the most skill, I disagree entirely. The golden gun doesn't require any skill to use, other than being able to aim and shoot (while nova bombs require the user to judge the trajectory to land the bomb perfectly, not too much skill required, but more so than that of a golden hand cannon). The blade dancer also requires minimal skill, all that you need to do is press the light attack buttons and the game targets enemies for you, so all you need to know is where the light attack button is (not that difficult). The hunter jump is a highly generic double jump seen in almost every game under the sun, no skill required provided you've played a video game that incorporates such a universal jumping mechanic before. While the warlocks glide isn't seen much, and if mastered provides the best forward momentum in the game. However since it is rarely seen and not many people have the time or patience to master it, it is regarded as useless. So tell me again, why is it that hunters have more "skill" than warlocks?
Now I don't advocate class wars, but this idea that hunters require more skill to use bugged me, I value all classes equally and recognise their roles in good light, so please don't reply with anything provocative :)

Warlocks have more tricks up their sleeves like overshields and awesome grenades. The only reason people say hunters are OP in crucible is their supers. Ignoring that,(which only really gets an extra 1 or 2 kills each super) and looking at grenades and melees, they are easily the worst of the 3 classes, which is part of why people say hunters are terrible in pve. If you can play well as a hunter with a throwing knife and trip mine, it makes playing other classes easy.
