First off let me say that I do like this game. I am one of many gamers who play often that think there are still many improvements that would make this game much better. So rather than just complain and say the game is crap, I figured I'd come out with a few solutions instead of adding to the problems. [b]New Weapons and Armor upgraded after the DLC lauch[/b]- Many are up in arms about how their old gear is useless and have plenty of right to be. I think there is a mix of confusion along this debate. We worked hard week after week obtaining our level 30 light raid armor. Now you can simply buy armor in the Tower that will put you up to 33 light giving you a level of 31 for your character. This makes the Vault of Glass raid pretty pointless since the armor in the raid is no longer worth working hard to get. If I don't have to beat the raid to get to 31, why do it other than for the fun of it? So after thinking about this I came up with a solution for that. The solution is bringing back the weapons and armors that were before the recent upgrades. Many would ask why, but I ask why not in situations like this. The idea is to either work through existing vendors or giving us new vendors for each of the factions in existence currently. The old ones would sell the gear that brings you up to 27 light and the new ones would sell you gear that brings you up to 33 light. The new Vendors would require you to have reached level 30 in order to purchase their new class item. Having that class item would allow you to purchase items from that vendor that can reach the new level cap limits. This way you would still need to work at the Vault of Glass for that armor and it would again have purpose. That those who did work hard for it are not feeling cheated out of their time spent and effort. Now many are going to ask, "What about the Legendary Engrams? Those drop upgraded items now." Make a new class of Engram for us. One that is a different caliber of Legendary so that this Engram will only give upgraded Legendary items. Have it so that you can only find those Engrams when either wearing a new upgraded class item or when you reach a level of 30 or higher.
