Even if they did ban people... It would be a bigger loss on bungie end than the consumer. All those banned won't be buying the dlc and as we have seen with the quality of destiny and it's dlc money is all that matters.

It would proabably be similar to the heavy ammo glitch ban where people got a temp ban for 2-3 weeks. Plenty of time to come back and play the DLC.

Edited by Alex_Supertramp1: 12/23/2014 2:12:05 AMSince a very small percentage of payers have even beaten the new raid, glitch or no glitch. An even smaller percentage have done it by glitching. If they do ban anyone it is because they were watching them while they did it. Which they can do, but they can't watch everyone at once. So they can't ban everyone. But they will probably ban some to make an example. A friend of mine knows someone who got banned this way. It's only for a few days. I'm sure they will still buy the next dlc
-
Which they can do, but they can't watch everyone at once.
You, my friend obvously never heard of Massbans. In Halo Reach Bungie banned 15000 Players who exploited at one point. They just looked over their data (which gets tracked in Destiny even more than in Halo) and had proof for cheating. So, yes, they can "watch" everyone at once. No "eyes" needed.

Edited by Alex_Supertramp1: 12/23/2014 12:53:09 PMYou are talking out of your ass. You are obviously one of those kids just praying that everyone who glitches gets banned. As much as I find people who glitch the raid pathetic, I find it even more pathetic when these pocket protector hall monitor ass geeks get on here all in a rage and concerned about what other people are doing. If they want to be bad, just let them be bad. Don't hold UR breath on that mass ban BS UR talking about. If they ban anyone it will be for a few days, slap on the wrist and a warning. Make sure to send me an inbox when your theories come to pass tho. Edit; and why did you put quotations around eyes? Just sayin
-
Thanks for proofing my point that you are simply not educated enough to know anything about the technologies that are powering a massive game like Destiny by coming up with creative insults the moment you have no arguments left. Don`t take it out on me, but blame the american educational system. Won`t send you an inbox either, because I know reading letters causes you pain.
-
Love how the "educated" guy said proofing and not proving! Way to drop the ball Einstein!
-
Better than dropping your balls. Cryptarch will decrypt them to void anyway;-)
-
I'm a math major douche! The fact that you presume to know anything about a person based on 2 forum posts shows your level of intelligence. If you studied game design, good for you. I still doubt that what you are saying will ever take place. That is what offends you most of all, being wrong. Don't for a moment think you are more educated than I am, I digest math problems and theories that you would be chewing on for months!
-
4 forum posts. How shall I believe that you are a math major when you obviously can`t even count the posts that you make? btw: from "ass" to "douche" is slow progress. How about you use even stronger language to make your arguments stronger?

Edited by Alex_Supertramp1: 12/23/2014 5:41:07 PMDude really? Who cares about you! Go kill yourself please. I'm not sitting here counting our back and forths on the forum. Two or four the point is still the same. And I'm certainly not writing you a fuucking essay. Sorry I don't distinguish between the active voice and the passive voice on a freaking forum. You are not that important to me. Believe what you want. I could care less if you are impressed or if you even live past today. Go get laid, have a drink, get a life, you really need to mellow out. And for gods sake please get off my nuts!
-
Banning for a couple of days isn't much of a punishment... I wouldn't even call it a ban... more of a timeout really.
-
Usually minimum ban is 90 days.
-
I could use a good 90+ days away from Destiny.
-
Well if the next dlc is anything like this one then I don't think I'll be around that long.
-
That said however, people who need to glitch this raid are just bad. We actually found it to be too easy. We beat it by day 3 without looking stuff up online. Beat crota encounter several times without wipes. I see no need for cheese
-
I beat it twice before I found out about the glitch. The glitch is just faster and you don't have to waste time with the same boring raid that never changes.
-
Glitch isn't faster if you are good. My core team can beat Crota without wiping. Or at least wiping maybe once or twice. If I cared that much about saving time I would just play with my core. If I'm helping people it takes longer. I've seen people attempting the cheese in groups for hours.
-
Those people are idiots then. It's not hard to do. Nor is the raid.
-
Yeah, pretty much anybody who cheeses is an idiot, so I'd have to say I must agree
-
Yeah i was surprised by crota. There's barely any adds and he can't really even hit you
-
Way easier boss than vog. Just from there are no problems with the server as much. But still satisfying as the sword bearer running up as we down him before he moves towards the group we talked about that for days.
-
Yeah, I stand on the stairs and barely get hit by anything. Its a joke. Only four encounter and only one real boss. I think VoG is harder. Well comparing lvl 30 to lvl 30 anyway. We will see what hard mode CE does, but I doubt it will be too bad.
-
Ir-Yut is a real bitch with her mash pit groupies but that's about it.

Indeed
