Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

Wasn't mine, but the weekend recently that xur sold thunderlord, i was absolutely destroyed by someone using thunderlord. Probably got it from xur, when the time came for rewards to be announced, the dude was blessed with another thunderlord.

The game glitches so it didn't count me as anything I couldn't use a synthesis because it said I wasn't in a combat zone I wen through an entire raid without a single drop. I thought it was a glitch and that all my things went tinpostmaster.... but no Had to run it again

The struggle to get the nighthawk after HoW came out. Took me 32 engrams but it was worth it. Hands down vest hunter exotic

Back when i wanted universal remote, litterally [b]EVERY[/b] nightfall n raid i ran, i got to watch someone else get it. It was upsetting. Then, theres all the strikes n crucible matches I've run where ive -blam!-ed shit up, n not only did everyone's favorite player (neg k/d in crucible, no kills in strikes) get an exotic, they get a legendary with perfect perks. Most recently, watched a guy with like... 10 kills on the archon strike get dragon's breath and a sniper with unflinching and hidden hand

End of a nightfall, I think I still have the video, three people got universal 11 strange coins. I also have one with the reward being 3 universal remotes and I'm almost positive that's up still.

Trying to get Gjallarhorn for a long while, seeing others getting it in strikes and crucible. Then my friend tells me Xûr is selling it, super happy and buy it finally. Next day, finish the nightfall and I get a Gjallarhorn drop... Either that or finding Ice Breaker three times after buying it

I read two awesome articles on PlanetDestiny.com called "10 rare weapons you should own" and "10 ( more) Rare weapons you should own" (Google it, worth a read!). Having nothing left to do until tomorrow's reset, I figured, what the hell, let's hit the Roc Strike playlist in the vain hope of scoring a few of those gems. I mean, just [i]look[/i] at that Stalker BNGL... How awesome will that custom paint job look with my Old Guard emblem?!? Also, have you seen the stats on that Evergreen II.I?!? It's better than a frickin' Hopscotch, for god's sake!!! Anyhow... A few (dozen) strikes later, we're tearing Omnigul a new one and my Warlock is carrying the whole fireteam hard. I mean, like, I'm-over-200-kills-by-now hard! Strike ends. Rewards come up. Both guys get a Stalker BNGL (one even has Reactive Reload!!!). I got a coin... My controller almost got intimate with my TV. [i]Almost[/i]...

I was in vog and got the Monte Carlo from the exotic chest...I already have it. Then I beat the nightfall 1 hour later and get the armamentarium...I already have it. I had 3 exotics at the time, and your telling me that out of all of them, I get the ones I already had? Yea, thx rng -_-

When I only had one character my first 7 weeks of nightfalls only dropped truth.

I'd say it was when there was no DLC. I was doing VOG but when I finished up Templar, it said I got two fatebringers, but at the end I didn't get any of them. Apparently the game switched my name with someone else in the game so I didn't get any fatebringers;(
