Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

Turning in 3 legendary engram that would hopefully give me a chance to increase my level, but instead they all turned into shards.

Bought 3 exotic helmet engrams. All 3 were titan helmets, 2 were Glasshouse. I'm a warlock. Who else but Rahool?

I had recently gotten The Crash from a FWC rank up package, then went to do the Nightfall. Complete the Nightfall, receive the comedian... It has the exact same perks and stats as my Crash.

Doing Crota's End and getting the Boots over and over despite wearing a fully upgraded pair. Seriously had them 3 times, no other Raid armour. Also, killing Crota and just getting 2 Shards / Energies.

Cryptarch package, legendary boot, helmet, and secondary engrams. Hunter boots, titan helmet and materials. I play lock, also this was my very first legendary experience. Three engrams at once and still left with nothing but blues. Also to this date I only own two legendary items that I did not purchase myself. RNGesus hates me.

1 ReplyGot a legendary engram from leveling up the Cryptarch. Turned out to be a heavy weapon engram. I was a level 26 who still owned a rare rocket launcher because RNG hates me. So, I got really excited. I looked at it before I decrypted it and was so excited to see what I would get. I pressed 'A'... And got two ascendent shards. I was so pissed... RNG continues to hate me with heavy weapons to this day. I was forced to buy a rocket launcher from the vanguard and then I had to buy Truth last week from Xur. Haven't gotten a heavy weapon legendary engram or any heavy weapon drops since.
