2 RepliesSo i played with randoms last night, they cheesed him on two of the runs i did. It seems like everyone cheeses so what am i supposed to do? Go back to orbit and scour the forums hours trying to assemble a team of legit players? My clsn wasnt playing raids last night so yeah. I was fortunate enough to be on a good random team the third run and we beat him legit. Beating him legit takes less time than the cheese does... I dont understand why everyone wants to cheese but its a reality.

16 RepliesYou sir are wrong the Crota cheese I know of won't get you banned yes it's the fire team leader leaving cheese. They can't ban you for that because if they did they would ban anyone whoa gets booted off for whatever animal they see fit. So no the cheese won't get you banned as it's not violating any code of conduct for either pan or xbl

Ive only cheesed crota one time and how all these things work for everything is first offense warning, second some sort of penalty third the ultimate punishment

But despite how small the percentage of people that do it don't you think they'll ban the entire fire team instead of one guy and they'd lose six players at a time. How is it fair that the guy being told to do it be the only one when it's clearly an entire team. That's probably the biggest difference from reach to destiny destiny involves more an actual team compared to just reach where it was your rank and your armor. technically the players staying to finish it off is using the whatever you said to gain an advantage and they should ban accordingly which means they would lose six players at a time. It's just a thought I had since it seems like only the one guy gets banned and that's really dumb if one person takes the fall for their teammates wanting to cheese. If they crackdown on players you can't just pick on the one person in my opinion.

12 RepliesNo one, and I mean no one, is going to get banned for doing this cheese method. Not supporting the cheese, just saying that no one is going to get banned. There was so much glitching/cheating/modding going on with GTA 5 over the past year (where R* could argue they were actually losing money because people were glitching millions of dollars) but the only ones who got banned were the people who had actual modded consoles.

Good heavens, are we still talking about this? Did I miss something or is this still a game and not real life? If something is wrong bungie will fix it. But who cares it does not affect me in any way, shape, or form. I'm just gonna play and have fun. Their gear will be useless with the next expansion anyway. I haven't done the raid and probably won't because I hate all my hard work being wasted with each expansion.
