ATTN: Post has been moved to a Destiny subreddit.
Because Reddit will be so much more sympathetic to your cause... lmao

Edited by O8C7: 12/29/2014 5:51:09 PMLol so if my weed dealer makes a EULA like Bungie here and I'm caught by the police do I not own it? Remember every investor is a co-owner in a capitalist economy.

And your wrong about the stealing because I purchased the game. And am entitle to use however I see fit.
-
Oh know "the cheese"
-
Edited by Prof Sheitbag: 12/29/2014 5:13:47 PMI personally have not done this yet, but I will say this: If they start banning people for cheesing Crota, then f*ck Bungie, and f*ck Activision. I am so sick of all the f*cking hoops they are making people jump through who did not get everything done in the first week or two of launch for this damn game. You want to beat the VoG flawlessly? Good f*cking luck - even if you can manage to find a team that can do it, you have the mountain of f*cking glitches to deal with STILL, not to mention all the lovely error codes THAT WE STILL GET 3 MONTHS AFTER LAUNCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What's that? You managed to get through everything, and now you are at Atheon, with no one dying, only to have 1 dude get pulled into Venus with an invincible Praetorian and the relic continually dropping out of his hand? Or better yet, when he runs through the gate he is magically still in the f*cking gate? Bungie wants to whine and cry and boo hoo about people figuring out how to cheese Crota? Tough shit! Fix your first raid and then you can get as teary eyed as you want about people cheesing him! Until then, stop your bitching!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sincerely, Someone who is fed the f*ck up with this game and the developer BS

You can't prove that any of us have "cheesed" crota so good luck banning us idiot
-
Looks like someone doesn't have enough friends to invite him to a game.
-
The only thing here that could potentially be an issue is causing a network disruption, but all of these things are subjective and each persons understanding of these could be different. Personally I don't really see an issue because if I am given the option to cut connection to my personal home network at any time then it's not a disruption of anything...
-
lmao Let them ban me for the times I've "cheesed" Crota. After the initial run-through of the Raid, the scenery doesn't change. Why go through all the motions and inefficiencies when I'm only going back for armor pieces and crafting mats? No, I guarantee I'm going to try and attempt the most efficient method for getting those items, and right now the cheese is the most efficient method. Besides, if I get banned, I can guarantee that no Bungie game will ever again grace the inside of my disc drive. Ever. There's plenty of games out there that offer 10-20 times the amount of content Bungie laughably put into this game (ex. Dragon Age: Inquisition), and I would have no issues playing those games instead. When releasing a game like Destiny, Bungie seems to forget that they actually have competition in their industry, and right now that competition is looking impeccable when compared to the laughingstock of a game that Bungie made. So go ahead, ban me. I'll mail Bungie my shattered Destiny disc alongside an audio recording of me laughing hysterically at them. Then I'll go play Dragon Age some more.

You need other things to fill up your day. No one is getting banned and you've spent a lot of time proving you have no idea what you're talking about.

Edited by MkVII: 12/29/2014 3:54:00 PMCall it what it is. It's an exploit. Cheese is a food and cheating Crota is done with a networking exploit. My point is call it an exploit or a cheat. Saying Cheese implies you did something legitimate but made the encounter trivial. Cheesing a cute fluffy term to make it seem like you're not CHEATING.

First how do you compare stealing to cheating, totally different... So when I'm in the middle of a strike, crucible match or raid. And I get Disconnected with error codes that were meant to be fixed weeks ago. And I lose all the loot I was supposed to receive. Technically bungie is stealing from me... That's what your saying right... All the times I have lost loot is down to an issue with the game. I did not come to the forums to bitch and moan every time I get DCd... Tell me why you are here moaning about the issues that the devs have with their game. Tell me why you are not here offering to help people learn how to kill Crota legitimately, would that not be worth more of your time that replying to abusive messages. Do you spitefully want these people to be banned? For what? Does it benefit you? Get a grip!
-
Serious question, so please don't shout What defines cheese????? If there is a way to kill / complete / finish a task that is built in to a game (even though a coder screwed up to create & lets face it, bungie has a LOT of bad coders) why can a player/s not use it. Surly if the objective is achieved by the ingenuity of the player that would be acceptable. I would think it would become "cheese / cheat" if you hack or manipulate the game beyond what it was designed to do (even by mistake)
-
As if they would ban their entire playing community..
-
I smell a hater
-
If this were true .... FYI it's not :O, Then Destiny would have practically it's entire playerbase banned... Not gonna happen Also I love this game, they should have made crotas end actually fun to play, personally I had more fun cheesing the shahit outta this then I did the intended way :/

The infinite Crota kneel "cheese" is cheating, plain and simple. You're breaking the network, it's cheating. There's no clever use of game mechanics here, you're just cheating, so don't kid yourself. Something about the Raids that people don't understand is that they're not supposed to be like fountains of loot or something. Getting stuff from the Raid is the closest Destiny has to actually earning your items. If you can't beat the Raid, whether that's a skill issue or a time issue or a lack of friends to play with issue, that's a YOU problem, that's not Bungie's problem and its nowhere near an excuse to cheat. You do not get a "let's break the game to get our items" option. If you can't beat the Raid, for whatever reason, then that's it, you can't beat the Raid. You know what happened when I tried the VoG on hard for the first time and got stomped? It motivated me and eventually my friends and I got through it and it was an awesome experience that I'll never forget. Cheating to beat difficult content negates the reason to be playing the difficult content in the first place. My advice. You'd better learn how to beat the fights legitimately because they're going to be fixed and then what will you do? Complain that it's too hard like the Templar and Atheon after their cheese exploits were fixed.

Please bump my post about making the Tower a chat room: http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/87955265/0/0

And I'm gonna eat your parents. Pussy
-
-blam!- banning it's just a -blam!-ing game
-
Two words Prove intent That is all
-
Will cheese that boss till it's patched. Why are people butthurt about other people cheesing anyways I mean it's not like PvP where it will affect your bounties or K/D. Some people have been getting shards on Crota cp, would you like to spend 2-3 hours on a raid only to get shards? I say cheese till bungie patch it, the normal raid really is the BETA for the Hard Raid.
-
This will probably get nobody banned. Notice how it says "unfair advantage". That "advantage" doesn't exist in PvE, since everyone's characters are personal. This part refers to the online PvP part of the game. Using connection/network to gain an unfair advantage. Nobody will be banned for this, stop crying.
-
Wouldnt they have to ban everyone then
-
You won't get banned so many people did it, they don't want to loose they're fan base
