in general it's fire team leader. But for whatever reason it's not always. To make sure just have on person start the checkpoint alone. Then when he's loaded in have him invite everyone else to the game. That will 100% make sure he's host.

This.... Fireteam leader has cp, goes in alone. Then team joins. This insures fireteam leader is "host". Will work everytime until they patch it.

Well not entirely true. It promises who will be the host. But the exploit itself is sketchy since it involves a latency error. Meaning just because the host leaves during him kneeling or while he goes down it's not always going to work. Because of that alone I don't think Bungie can fix it. The best they might be able to do is ban people for doing the glitch or set it up so he doesn't drop loot if killed that way.

Why would you post this on a bungie forum? That's basically saying here's all the things that needs patching so we can't do the raid easier.
