@ People Glitching Crota Raid - You make me sick
I've been to about 4-5 pugs from lfg.net and everytime we go in there, EVERYONE wants to glitch or exploit every boss encounter.
1. Glitch the bridge
2. Die and self res at gatekeeper, done in 5mins...
3. Skip shielded room by finding crota checkpoint, done and done
4. Die and self rez to negate no health regen- yea like this was even an issue
5. Have leader d/c when crota is kneeling down- really? you guys suck so bad you need to exploit this?
I hear this garbage over and over in every pug I join. My question is, how the F do you guys sleep at night knowing you are cheating on this very simple instance? All you need are competent players that communicate properly and this instance can easily done in 40 minutes.
I think Bungie should ban all you people for exploiting such a simple raid content. I'm not really one to say people need to earn their gear, but this is just getting ridiculous. Have some dignity people.

It's really just my way of saying how can you have a clean conscience when you are cheating and exploiting yourself into a really simple instance. We fought CROTA for 3 hours last night. Killed him right as he enraged. On a run where we were saying 2 or 3 more tries before we get off. And then [b]BOOM[/b] everything went smooth. We did it legit. It was a bitch. But now we can do whatever we want to do because we know we can do it normal. So here I come [b]CHEESE[/b]!!!!!!!!

Literally just legit finished Crota, near-Enrage (first time for our team to kill him). Pretty grueling, but I'm just glad it's done. Now I just need raid gear to get to lv 32...which my brother already has all raid gear...from using his other titan classes to 'farm' the first two parts... Sometimes being the one guy to make all classes but only focus on one majority of the time is more a curse than a blessing. :/

Will skip death singers with my own checkpoint because she gives no rewards. Kind of being forced to glitch the bridge because randoms really suck and drag my regular group down.

1 ReplyI don't mind doing it legit. Just like last night when I do nightfall. There is a guy that prefer doing thing legit. So I said okay. We can try. The guy said that always die first in the first wave and we're send back to orbit 3 time when trying to do it legit. It just too time consuming. Sometime when u only get an hr or 2 to play, u just want it done. There were time I spent 3 to 4 hrs in VOG and nothing was accomplished

Or when your in the VOG and the relic can't be picked up, how about when all the oracles are destroyed and there's no time of vengeance buff? Or when you destroy all the oracles and you still succumb to them. How about Bungie fix the glitches that prevent us from doing raids legit before anything else

Yep... This raid is ridiculous with all the glitching now. Didn't use any last week and cdnt kill crota. Tried for like 10 hours, but could never get a real cohesive group. Did all three characters start to finish in a couple hours yesterday.

CE is definitely not that hard. A fire team invited me to help them glitch Crota and they said they had been at it for 3 hrs!! Don't you know you can beat him legit in like 5 mins! It's frustrating when everyone wants to glitch/ exploit. Was raiding with 2 guys who said they never crossed the bridge legit or beat Deathsinger, but beat Crota 3x. When hard mode comes out everyone who uses these exploits on CE will be clueless.

1 ReplyI agree completely, this raid is rediculously easy and quick to beat. I mean come on, the first team beat it in about 6 hours. My team beat it in about 8 hours total, split up over 3 days and mostly without looking at guides. One of our guys did look up some hints on crota, I was a bit upset about the spoiler, but what are you gonna do? Anyway, yesturday a friend of mine wanted me to go along with them yesterday to do the crota glitch. I refused. My responses was, "I have beaten Crota in one run without wiping before, why would I spend 2 hours trying to figure out a glitch for a boss I can beat in 10 or 15 minutes." Long story short they end up spending around two hours trying to figure it out only to fail and never complete it. I am a little bit bothered by these glitches. These are the type of things game testers are supposed to catch and programmers are supposed to fix pre launch. On the one hand I am glad that they are pushing back the hard mode version, so hopefully they can patch the exploits and kids that are bad and used to these glitches can't get the best gear. On the other hand I feel like Bungie should be testing the game better and not using the community as unpaid game testers. I mean, I guess there will always be some glitch in a complex game like this, but jeez. I am gonna laugh and laugh when these people who can't beat crota on normal without glitching get absolutely locked out of the hard mode once they fix all these glitch issues. I really hope they lock it up tight. They did a pretty good job with VoG, although it was still possible to push Atheon off, but it was hard enough to do that most people needed up just learning how to beat him legit anyway because it was easier that way. If they had fixed that before releasing hard mode I doubt anywhere near as many people would have Mythoclast

When you are getting that upset about silly things in video games it probably means you need to take a break. If you don't want to exploit don't... But why sweat about what others are doing?

Me and some of my clan members beat Crota legitimately on Monday night, we started the raid Friday night and it took us almost 12 hours total but it was done right with no video walkthroughs or outside help of any kind, a "blind" run if you will. Without any exploit, we made it back to Crota that same Monday night in 30 minutes and got stuck due to us using our secondary classes. Last night we beat the raid using every exploit listed in the OP, not because we don't want to play the game the way it was meant to be played but because of time, we do [i]all[/i] there is to do in this game, we love this game (flaws not withstanding). When Bungie patches all these exploits (and they most definitely will), we will simply continue doing the raid legitimately. We don't use the exploits because we can't beat the raid the right way, we've proven we can, we've also proven we can in an hour or two. When the VoG was patched we ran it on hard mode the following week and cleared it, all legitimate. I'm sure that when Bungie fixes this raid it will be no different. I think it's fair to direct your anger towards the people who use these exploits because they are horrible players that can't do it the right way, but saying anyone who does this is a "noob" is totally not accurate.

I want the coins too, I just actually want to fight the boss. If you want to snipe phogoth from three rooms away, please solo. There should be a "legit" option for LFG.

Yesterday I joined team that only "cheesed" the bridge, and they were good at crota killing... I won within the hr. You play your way, we play ours. Tell your sob story to bungie. Also, they want you to skip the witch part, hence why they give you no rewards for it

1 ReplyHad this happen to me last night. A friend, who had yet to do Crota's End, wanted to do his first raid run. I was expecting to show him all of the mechanics on how to do it legit.....boy was I wrong. The vast majority of the team wanted to do ALL of the above glitches to beat the raid. Finally got to Crota, the guy doing to DC thing failed miserably several times......I decided to just leave. I will be doing Crota LEGIT tonight, just like I have since the DLC dropped last week.

Bungie should bann people for cheesing. Where is the fun for people if you are cheesing.. raids should be something to complete with teamwork and fun. Not by just ding it fast for loot you dont need anyways.. I am glad i got my own raid group, so i sont have to deal with all the cheesings kids anymore. :-)

Honestly I thought it was good bringing in a emblem to show who has done the raid and after I found out about tonight's glitch it now is worthless. I have one guy in my tight group that is lazy as -blam!- and always wants to cheese every chance he gets and the rest of us prefer legit or at least close. (Nightfalls - room camping Ect)
