@ People Glitching Crota Raid - You make me sick
I've been to about 4-5 pugs from lfg.net and everytime we go in there, EVERYONE wants to glitch or exploit every boss encounter.
1. Glitch the bridge
2. Die and self res at gatekeeper, done in 5mins...
3. Skip shielded room by finding crota checkpoint, done and done
4. Die and self rez to negate no health regen- yea like this was even an issue
5. Have leader d/c when crota is kneeling down- really? you guys suck so bad you need to exploit this?
I hear this garbage over and over in every pug I join. My question is, how the F do you guys sleep at night knowing you are cheating on this very simple instance? All you need are competent players that communicate properly and this instance can easily done in 40 minutes.
I think Bungie should ban all you people for exploiting such a simple raid content. I'm not really one to say people need to earn their gear, but this is just getting ridiculous. Have some dignity people.

I agree with you in this matter man. These exploits are completely unnecessary. When I'm invited people say they are going to cheese and I just leave. Crota is so simple as it is if you got 2 good snipers and 3 burners for crota with tracking missiles (truth and ghallahorn work really good). Bridge usually what my normal group does is we get 3 across then if we are in a rush we just have the other 3 jump off and the 3 who made it burn the ogres. Deathsingers is simpler than people think too. Send 2 groups of 3 on each side then when u enter the hallway there are little ledges on the wall you can stand on to avoid the sword Knights. If you have a titan he can even put a defender bubble up to protect you from gunfire after your shrieker is dead

These players are garbage and their excuses are just as bad as their skill. Don't expect much from them. New Raid can be done in less than and hour with a competent team but these idiots would rather make Bungie patch things up instead of doing it legit.

this raid has 1 boss that drops loot. I think the Mini boss will somehow bee a chest if you beat it in a special way (like no teleport from VOG) so i have no issue cheesing my way through the bull shit of no bosses. I am a hunter so my cheese for lamps is to go through it, i choose to avoid the enemy instead of kill them so its not a bad cheese cause i still work...... for the bridge they messed up on that one, and i dont look to cheese it cause i know it will be patched. then i haven't ever did the crota knee one ... and if you dont want to rely on the Bad Blues then find a clan to run with.... or make your own group and say LFM Non Cheese run.... its honestly simple..... you complain about people taking a shortcut, while the hardest part of the raid is finding a group of people you can stand talking to for 30 min to an hour and your skipping that part

Honestly my raid group has done it all completely legit and the only hard part is the witch before crota and Synching crota downs and sword dmg but it's obviously doable. The problem with this game is the same reason I don't care if people exploit this is none of this matters in crucible. In crucible the raid weapons aren't better than anything the vendors (including xur) sell. It's getting people loot that really doesn't matter. 32 will only mean something in hardmode and most of these people will be way behind anyways due to the sheer fact they haven't practiced the raid the way it was intended. TL;DR MEH

They are doing valuable work playtesting the raid for Bungie. The raid will improve for it.

Did it 3 times the normal way yesterday. It's not hard. Just need a good team who WORKS TOGETHER. The rest is just icing on the cake.

Doing the final Crota glitch is just about as long as doing it normal, and about as hard. So it's really not worth doing...

I don't have an issue with others doing it but I do want to avoid those groups myself. I enjoy the raid the way it was meant to be played.

Who cares. It doesn't affect you one bit. If you don't like glitching then do it legit. If you like glitching then by all means take advantage of Bungie's stupidity and lack of proper QA.

3 RepliesI'm going to shed some light on this situation. If Destiny had a better loot/reward system, or some type of matchmaking for the Raids then maybe people wouldn't be so inclined to get the best gear they can. I'll be honest, "I'm that guy". Ill be a lvl 32 maybe next week when i go in there and get my shards. I have 2 good friends that play everyday and we always team up and do strikes and our weekly Nightfalls and Heroics. We have used the LFG website to do the VOG and we have added friends. But after the Raid is done, people go their own way, start their own clans and so forth. I have these people on my friends list now that never send invites, and never respond to mine. I have also joined up with other randoms and it was a mess. It depends on who is looking to play. Some people don't take Raids seriously and think its fun to be in one and have no clue on what to do. I was able to reach lvl 29 a few weeks after the game released. I never got to a 30. NEVER, for 3 months. I did the Raid legit a couple of times and cheesed it a bunch and only received the boots while others were rewarded the gear they needed to reach 30. It wasn't until the new DLC came out and I bought my Vanguard armor. Blame the game, blame the loot system. That's the reason people are doing it. At least now, I'll be a lvl 32 and don't have to worry about getting to that top tier before The House of Wolves come out, then it will be useless. It is what it is.....

Agreed and also most of the fun comes from actually playing the raid and not cheating your way through. Doing it legit is way more fun and more satisfying when you actually get something.
