Because it does. You just have to not be little shits that act like they're allergic to reading. Read the Grimiore. It paints a whole picture when you read them all. Especially the Legends(Legendary Item G Cards) and the Ghost Fragment ones. It does have a story though. Should it be in game? Hell yes. Does it being outside the game help it? Not at all, but does it have a story? Yes.

I didn't and am not. It's not my fault that you haven't unlocked enough of it to put the picture together. Apologies if I offended. I didn't mean it that way. It was more of a joke than anything else. But it should all be in game.

My grimoire score is pretty high. I have read it all and there is a lot of backstory to other things, but there's nothing that invests me in my character

I'll agree with that. We have no backstory as to who we are and thus no true driving force behind what we do. We have no character driven story. It's more a story of circumstance so far. There's plenty of backstory though.

Yeah I realize there's plenty of backstory it's not like I'm not acknowledging that and it is good stuff I just wish I could relate to my character more or at least be level with him

Or have you possibly considered that there is no interesting story about our character or any explanation? Trust me I'm not one to just bitch and complain but the story is practically nonexistent in this game. Are there some interesting stories about exotics and such? Yes, but other than that they failed to capture any sort of interest as to how OUR character plays a role in this world. I used to support this game so much, but with the general lack of story and lacking of content and other things that they really shouldn't have done with the recent dlc I am losing more and more faith in this game. Next time you start calling kid actually say something of some intelligence please instead of just spouting nonsense. It's practically impossible to talk to you because you're basically just saying "well your mom" like really?
