ATTN: Do Not buy "The Devil You Don't" Hand Cannon!
Please be smarter than me and spend your money on something else because I cant hit anything with this pos.
My favorite weapon in the game for PVP is TLW. Based on TDYDs stats (high rate of fire/stability) I thought it could be a decent backup for when I wanted an exotic special or heavy. However, it seems like this is one of the most inaccurate guns of any class I have used, its literally losing gun fights for me. I didn't realize the Clown Cartridge perk only grants ONE extra bullet IF it procs, and at a base mag of 5 rounds, this isn't a significant difference.
I feel terrible when I think about other people spending their marks/commendations on this gun so do me a favor and don't.

It's hard when you actually have to aim at someone to hit them doesn't it? You know instead of firing from your hip with bonus accuracy and aim assist.

I have one with luck in the chamber and its one of my fav legendary to use in the crucible. It wrecks because the perk procs almost every gunfight

1 ReplySeems to me u all suck ha ha, I bought the vendor one and think it's amazing. If u can't drop someone in 5 rounds with a handcannon then you must be shit. And the fact that it has mega fast reload doesn't make a difference to me. You just pop in and out of cover if need be. People who moan about it are clearly rubbish crucible players who think the last word is the best handcannon on the game. When in reality it's rubbish, the best handcannin is the thorn by a mile. And if anyone needs me to prove it I'm on the 360 goon3r1985.

It is a very bad weapon. Blue HC were much better weapon. It collecting dust in my vault. Now I have 2 of them. I am just about to delete them..taking my vault space. I am glad to see this topic. Now I have good feeling to delete them...LOL

4 RepliesEdited by magburner: 4/3/2015 1:15:13 PMI have an RNG Devil, and it has two reload modifiers. In the hands of my gunslinger, it reloads so quick, that it looks like a magic trick! I always use it in Crota, and have never had an issue with it, whether it be accuracy, or precision hits. Edit: By the way, compare the weapon to The Word of Crota, dismissing the magazine size for one moment, they are almost statistical identical, with weight being the only differentiating factor.

I recently bought the devil you don't Its a decent hand cannon if you're accurate. Without any form of accuracy, until you receive the perfect balance perk, you might as well keep it in the vault. I recommend handing in bounties to grind XP for the hand cannon until you get perfect balance. With the perk you should do well. Also Whoever said they use the Devil you don't for crota I cannot imagine it being of any use whatsoever except for maybe the first checkpoint. Even then, its best to use a scout rifle. i recently got the Fang of Ir Yut. Phenomenal weapon.

Most player put in a enough hours, do nightfalls and missions that drops and packages give you a steady flow of weapons. I got a mida, a suros, 2 nlbs, a black hammer, a praetorians foil, light of the abyss, a new monarchy scout rifle, the crypt dweller, atheons Epilogue and a few other legendaries which I sharded this week so far. I have no more death singers, gorgon chests, atheons, crotas or nightfalls this week but I'm sure doing rocks and bounties something else is like to drop. Oh and I also sharded a Hezen vengeance and Praedyths revenge. wow. I play waaaaay too much. EDIT: Red Hand 9 is the greatest hand cannon. If you get as a drop you'll love it.

mine has perfect balance, but even before that i didnt really have a problem getting them hit markers in crucible...
