I agree whole heartedly: we need time travel. If we had time travel, then we could go back and Microsoft could pony up for the exclusives and then a different set of people would be doing all the whining.
Oh crap! I just realized that if we did that, they'd probably have a thread just like this, and then they'd go back and do the same thing (good god!, maybe the only reason we have this thread is because it's already happened!). So in addition to time travel, we also need a squad of highly trained moderators that we'll send a few years further into the past, laying in wait on these forums for the days when they are needed to delete the posts which lead to the discovery of time travel to pull the double reverse.
But wait! Someone else might go further into the past and tell Apple to pony up, which means they buy Bungie, the Pippin becomes the huge gaming success, the iPod and then iPhone fail to be introduced because Apple becomes, primarily, a console maker (since without Halo, Xbox dies), without Apple there's no Android, and then these bile-filled forums barely see any traffic since people can't post whenever/wherever they feel like it.
Actually, I'm ok with that last part. Maybe I'll be the one to push Apple on the Bungie purchase. . .
