Use the right side of the room. There are 3 safe spots. The stairs, behind the rock and behind the pillar. Depending on where he is you chose the spot he can't hit you at. Have the relic cleanse if marked and a Titan or two for weps of light for every burn or when things get sticky. Took us about 2 hours but once we discovered this strat it was much easier.
