Yes, inferior. It was inferior to several other weapons including the Suros Regime for example. This was made evident while competing in the Iron Banner event at level 30 vs level 30 testers. As damage points were displayed, you could see that the Vex was unable to meet the headshot damage of the Suros by a fair margin. That is an ordinary Exotic vs the hardest weapon to obtain currently. The Vex has now been brought in line with other weapons to make it a more attractive option.

I guess. I mean, I can't argue with statistics but I can't completely agree with a secondary source. I can see that you're educated and approaching this in an intelligent matter, but can't we just both agree that every gun has its advantages and disadvantages? It's all influenced heavily by the situation. And to point out inferiority and superiority within specific guns is mere opinion-based and without complete observation. PvP is more than just weapon vs weapon and whose is better. Also take into consideration how each player can utilize the environment, grenades, and knowing how to utilize their advantages correctly.

You do make valid points. I guess I could've been a little more specific in the regards to why I feel it's inferior. I have just always felt that the Vex should deal the greatest damage given what the weapon actually is, for this to not be the case (or at least after it was nerfed) was beyond me. The Suros dealing more damage, having the better range, stability, ability to heal and high caliber rounds just made it too powerful in contrast. Absolutely every gun has it's advantages and disadvantages, the Vex should've always been a gun that players yearned to own for reasons outside of it's beautiful aesthetic.

Totally agree. Regime has always been a well-rounded gun in terms of pretty much everything. I just hope that its nerf in the glass half full perk I believe, is one to let Mytho shine a bit more.
