Vex is still weaker than VoC so long as you can pretty reliably hit crit spots. It's much better now but I prefer to have range and huge critical damage for tougher encounters.
I am finally leveling Thorn since it now seems useable.

Voc is a scout rifle. Vex has a much much faster fire rate.

VoC got more effective DPS, more range, more ammo AND no exotic. VoC much > Vex

Exactly. I'm tired of people saying VoC and Vex can't be compared. They are full auto solar primaries that are acquired in the raid. The VoC may fire slightly slower but in terms of DPS it can't be beat.
