It still kicks up. If you're moving at all from a distance there is no way every single shot in that spread is going to hit you. THERE IS NO WAY unless you're not as far as you think you are. You cannot be sniped by a fusion rifle.

I'll give you a couple situations. MARS FIREBASE: Picking up heavy ammo and people are going through both the doors. Someone is near A with a fusion rifle, and shoots it across the area, hitting me just as I begin walking away. I was slowly moving, but still moving. TWILIGHT ZONE: Near C is a guy with a Fusion Rifle. I'm near A going towards B (I'm near the spawn area for A, going diagonal) and I get hit by the guy with the fusion rifle. As crazy as you may think it sounds... this shit happens.

Both of those situations are mid range on small to medium sized maps. It's not crazy, because it's a mid range weapon. Also, in neither of those situations were you taking on 3 people.

Like I said, those are example. If this is meant to be a mid-range weapon, then it shouldn't be just as good up close.

I agree. That's why there's a charge time. You can hear it clear as day when at close range. You can dodge an unskilled user, shotgun, melee, shoot, etc. there are counters.
