Silent have you tried using a fusion Rifle? You understand how much skill it takes to shoot one of those right? And how easy it is to juke/straff, if you are getting owned by fusion rifles check your tactical strategy. Also all your characters are running shotguns.... Sooooo wtf mate???

  • Fusion rifles are cheap. When I can get blasted by one up close, I'm fine with that. But when I'm halfway across the map with full -blam!-ing health and get taken out by with by a single shot... I tend to get a bit annoyed.

You need to move more if you're getting one shot by a fusion rifle from anywhere past close to close-mid range.

  • I'm sorry I'm not paying attention to people across the map while my hands are full taking on 3 enemies by myself.

  • That's your fault for being an idiot and taking on more than you can handle.

  • Oh no, I can handle 3 opponents without problem. The problem is that guy one shotting me across the map with his fusion rifle.

You have an overall K/D ratio of 1.006693. I doubt you can take on 3 enemies by yourself at the same time.

  • You say that as if stats matter? Let me fill you in First got the game: Hadn't played an FPS shooter in awhile. I was really good when I played Halo (usually got 3-5 KDRs) but just stuck to AC/Skyrim/Various other games. Had to get back into being used to playing an FPS, so of course I wasn't that good at start. Queen's missions: Get # of headshots with scout rifles I suck with scout rifles but of course I was going to rank that up. It destroyed my KDR more than anything. Regular Crucible: Have to get headshots with snipers. Took me awhile to get back to being good with them, so that took awhile. Thorn bounty: Had to get 500 points with void damage in Crucible. All I had was a void sniper and it took too long to just sit back and wait with it. Iron Banner: 20 headshots AR. I use hand cannons in PvP, not assault rifles. I'm still trying to get better at them though. Basically there are many factors that prove that stats don't exactly show skill. But I can assure you when I'm using my Bladedancer, I can blink my way around the area and take out 3 enemies at once.

  • If you're blinking all over the place you shouldn't be getting hit with a fusion rifles from long distance. Are you blinking all over the place? Or are you lying about being able to handle 3 at a time? Where's the lie amigo?

  • Blink has a short cooldown period after 2 blinks, leaving you vulnerable because you basically can't jump out of the way. Most of the times this isn't a big problem, but you can't always anticipate each enemy player's movements, so it's easy to get caught offguard or get 'sniped' by some fusion rifle..

  • That's your fault for relying heavily on blink. If it puts you in a vulnerable position that's your fault not the fusion rifle. And you can't be sniped with a fusion rifle. Please show me a video of someone being one shot with a fusion rifle with full health from anywhere past mid range.

  • Yes, blame the reliance on blink instead of the lack of psychic powers predicting every single move and position of enemy players at any given time . Sometimes, you just get ohk'd by a fusion rifle from a ridiculous range. Not every single death is like that, but it happens enough to warrant a (slight) nerf, seeing how weapons are being nerfed left and right.

  • Nope. If you're getting one shot by a fusion rifle from anywhere past mid range you're being a really obvious target.

  • I don't run around with shotguns. Check my Hunter, I use a sniper. I melee when blinking so there are certain periods of time where I am a bit vulnerable. Not to mention that Blink is pretty easy to track when someone teleports. And besides that was an example. There are many ways I can take on multiple enemies. I can use cover, I can use grenades, I can use a super... many ways. None of this even matters because fusion rifles can still hit 1 shot kill from a far range, which is completely ridiculous.

  • Dude, use a fusion rifle sometime. It shoots a spread like a shotgun except the spread rises up with recoil. To shoot someone from a distance with a fusion rifle they need to be standing still, crouched, or barely moving. It's amazing at short to mid range but isn't meant for long distance. This is the last time I'll say this: if you're getting one shot with a fusion rifle from across the map you are standing still or barely moving.

  • Yet it still happens to me as I walk or run. You see, people can turn their view, meaning the bullets that are fired after the ones that first came out will be more towards the side, where you are looking at. Amazing how that works, isn't it?

  • It still kicks up. If you're moving at all from a distance there is no way every single shot in that spread is going to hit you. THERE IS NO WAY unless you're not as far as you think you are. You cannot be sniped by a fusion rifle.

  • I'll give you a couple situations. MARS FIREBASE: Picking up heavy ammo and people are going through both the doors. Someone is near A with a fusion rifle, and shoots it across the area, hitting me just as I begin walking away. I was slowly moving, but still moving. TWILIGHT ZONE: Near C is a guy with a Fusion Rifle. I'm near A going towards B (I'm near the spawn area for A, going diagonal) and I get hit by the guy with the fusion rifle. As crazy as you may think it sounds... this shit happens.

  • Both of those situations are mid range on small to medium sized maps. It's not crazy, because it's a mid range weapon. Also, in neither of those situations were you taking on 3 people.

  • Like I said, those are example. If this is meant to be a mid-range weapon, then it shouldn't be just as good up close.

  • I agree. That's why there's a charge time. You can hear it clear as day when at close range. You can dodge an unskilled user, shotgun, melee, shoot, etc. there are counters.
