If his weapon does 300 attack... It does 300 attack no matter what.
Your GEAR/WEAPONS count, your LEVEL is secondary...
If you had it your way then 300 attack weapons would do less damage and then even the 30's would struggle to kill other 30's because the 300 attack is weakened so that a level 25 with a 300 attack weapon has a greater difficulty killing people with maxed armor.
This is how your armor gets in the equation: right now with max armor you got one shot by a 300 attack weapon, but not a 250 attack weapon. If you had less armor you may have been one shotted by both the 300 and 250.
Fear the gear, not the level.

Not to mention he used a pulse rifle which has an incredibly high impact to begin with.

The thing is , in earlier posts they clearly said the level difference would matter like it does in pve, I.e if you are several levels below then your damage output would be reduced. That was pretty clear, so even a 300 dmg on someone 3 levels above shouldn't 1 shot. However , I don't have any issues with the IB, it's been fun. These points just seem to be coming from people dying to better players, then crying their gear and level didn't give them an advantage. Just try and be a better player instead.

Very true, that level plays some sort of role. But with fusion rifles having such a high impact, it's not surprising that they1-hit higher level players. Just like a level 20 with a 300 attack fusion rifle would be able to 1-hit a goblin or hobgoblin in the level 26 VoG.

So its probably time to adjust how stupid the one-shot meta is, created by shotguns and fusion rifles.
