Lol. I see the result of destiny as it is and all of the content talked about and not released as the consequences of a multitude of problems they encountered, including the redesigning of the almost everything in the game to leave openness for later work on the story, which is why it's so light (they didn't have time to fully conceptualize a new plot and the planning for said plot after the lead writer left, as well as the need to cater to old consoles (why technological things like your ship dropping you off, huge environments/maps, and the planned trading system-likely large scale Runescape grand Exchange esque, were cut. Not to mention the 4 dlc part of the contract with Activision.
Tl:Dr- They left a lot to be desired in Destiny's plot due to lack of time, so that they could build on it later. That's also why they might just be able to use your ideas in the next game or later dlc :D there's a chance at least lol.
