I dont want to play the bloody crucible. Its all you guys talk about. Iron banner, crucible, pvp events. No! I can play COD if i want that. That is not help on the way for pve players.

So its either raid gear or you have to play the crucible? I am not into pvp and so anyone that isnt has to look exactly the same and wear the raid set?

DeeJ Please tell your boy's that we need this for the new light cap as well, Even if we can only equip one piece to help us reach level 32. One IB, One Exotic, and Two Raid pieces to reach level 32 would be awesome. Don't think its fair to spend almost two months to hit level 30 when someone did it in two weeks. And yes I know the guy had like 3 of the same classes, Which would have taken him no more than six raids to get his gear, While others are at 14+ times and still haven't achieved level 30.

Deej I love to play destiny and I've met a lot of cool people ( never been in a clan before ) but I have to say this does not address the issue of faction armor have a meaningful purpose. You could have a mote of light system to upgrade non raid gear armor to 30 light so players could grind there way 30 or just make what others have referred vanity slots to get the look that you want with the gear you earned or I saw a vault coin idea that seemed legit or xur could sell raid gear for 60 strange coins for chest, boots or gloves and 120 for helmets and I understand you have destiny you want us to achieve but why do we all have take the same journey?

DeeJ, I just have to say that I appreciate what you've done for us so far, including giving us the promise that Iron Banner gear will help us reach level 30. However, I think that this game needs more than that. I think that the light system needs to be overhauled in such a way that still makes level 30 an effort, but obtainable to everyone. If you wouldn't mind taking the time to read [url=http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/74333282/0/0]my thread[/url] about the need for increased diversity, I would be highly delighted to hear your thoughts. At the very least, I'd appreciate it if you took my ideas to the development team so that they can discuss them. At this moment in Destiny, diversity is narrowed and lost over time as players get closer to level 30. This kills the idea of "Become Legend" that you guys are so proud of. I believe that my ideas, if implemented, would not only maintain balance in Destiny, but would also restore diversity and finally allow players to become their own unique legend.

Edited by Justice: 11/4/2014 12:18:29 AMWhile I like PvP, I will say that having Iron Banner as a means to get level 30 gear is just another way of forcing PvE players with bad RnG luck to play PvP. I enjoy both aspects of the game, but I wouldn't say this is a fix to the light system. I do understand that such an ingrained mechanic cannot be changed after launch. Most other games I have played are not level caped by gear. See the one thing I have never understood is why we grind to get max level. We should be grinding to get the better gear once we hit max level.
