We both pay $20 + what we pay for PS+ and Xbox Gold. Sony took some of the money I paid them and got me extra content for Destiny. Microsoft does the exact same thing with the money you pay them. In this case that investment didn't work out for you.
As an example if I want to play the new tomb raider with my PS4 I have to wait because MS spent money to get that exclusive. Eventually we could both pay the same amount to play tomb raider, however, you had the content much earlier than I did. With this we both pay the same, however, I get to play some content earlier that you.

Paying for early DLC content is not the same as exclusive content. Xbox players do not get the strike content, ever. That is the argument, PS users got content later yes but they got ALL the content when it came out to them.

Yes they will get it. It is exclusive to PS for 1 year.

ha ha ha and as a gamer would you want to play 10 to 9 month old content that you will probably have to pay for again to get though another DLC? a year long exclusive contact with Sony was a stupid ass move by Bungie. I can understand a 3 month exclusive but a year. they wont have xbox players waiting around that long, hell a lot of gamers are already tired of the current content.

It is a long time and I can't say that I will be still playing Destiny in that time, however, it all comes back to what Sony and MS were able to negotiate with Bungie/Activision. Maybe MS thinks that most will jump to Halo when it comes out that they didn't push too hard on Destiny? Maybe Bungie feels the same? Either way Bungie clearly think that what they get from Sony is more than enough to offset any losses on the Xbox side of things. It sucks you have to wait for extra content but the reality is it happens on both sides. PS gets some stuff, Xbox gets other stuff. Up to you to decide where you want to put your money.
