Don't forget Pocket Infinity! That got whacked with the nerf bat too. It's a valid point you raise. I see no reason why a buff to weapons would be any harder or take any longer than nerfing others.

Still a decent fusion rifle, but nowhere near as good as it used to be. 3 rounds and the perk doesn't seem to kick in very often. I ditched it for the legendary vanguard fusion rifle a long time ago.

Yeah needs 4-5

Pocket infinity doesn't suck, sure it was better but it is still better than your average fusion rifle. Has more dps than Plan C even with the 3 round burst.

Pocket infinity got nerfed? I just got it and was wondering why it sucked so bad.

get the special perk, it still rocks!

It used to have an 8 round mag perk but that was replaced with a quick reload perk I think. Now it only has 3 rounds. Still quite a good weapon in my opinion, but not the "Infinity" I knew and loved.

Edited by Ungrateful-Dead: 10/27/2014 4:44:19 PMThis was my first exotic and I loved it. I think I used in PVP once. Long charge time, so-so range and 3 shots from an auto? Now it only "half-kills" Praetorians and the only thing I pull it out for is Vanguard fusion rifle bounties. I only keep it for the remote chance that Bungie gives it back a little of its PVE awesomeness. The Pocket Infinity is a waste of an exotic slot for PVE now, and if I played more PVP, I would probably use the Invective on smaller maps instead (don't get me started on the glacially slow reload on that POS). At least the Invective regens special ammo so you can switch to a better weapon when you have enough. I think all the bounty exotics are pretty much garbage and treat their bounties like that whenever I get them.
