bungie stated that they understand that both the weapons are a little weak right now... but their main goal is to make the game playable to the average player. This means adjusting anything the "break" the game(ie mythocast). also bungie never said a buff is coming, they said their (bad juju and thorn) will come, be patient with bungie.
also in reference to the mythocast. yes it was broken, i a average player becomes the best in the game/match with just one weapon then that weapon is broken. balance in a game is when everyone is doing their own thing, not when everyone is doing the same thing.
O and don't complain about something not getting a buff if you don't have it

Everyone has a right to complain if they've seen reliable vid or their friend has it I have thorn and I know it NEEDS more in the clip max upgraded in PvP it's good and barely ok in PvE I'd suggest 8-10 in one mag.

Maybe he had the bounty to get it, and he still has the right to complain. Who is the "average" player? Making the game playable for the "average" player as they put it will be an ongoing thing day after day year after year. I don't expect an immediate buff for these weapons but bungie could at least give a quick update on them (just a "work in progress" or "on the way"). These weapons are one of the only things mentioned in the dev notes and news that have not been fixed/updated yet.

Agreed. The problem isn't the actual lack of update, but rather the lack of any relevant information regarding an already announced update. Notice how this weeks update focused on updating us on an event no one cares about at the moment? And completely forget to mention anything about the atheon patch that was announced by Deej to be released this week but wasn't? Bungie is just dipping their toes into the MMO world, and they're goin to need to learn how to communicate more efficiently with their fans. An always online world requires a different discussion strategy than an FPS you might patch once or twice it's entire life.
