No, you're missing the point. They announced the buffs two weeks before the Mythoclast was considered a problem, which means the buffs were already planned/being worked on before the idea of nerfing the Mythoclast even entered their heads. Yet, here we are with a nerfed Mythoclast/buffed Scout Rifles, but no buffs to the guns that they announced they were going to buff over a month ago. No one forced them to announce the buffs. If they didn't plan on buffing the guns until 6+ weeks after they announced it, then they shouldn't have bothered announcing it so early. It just makes them look bad/slow, and leaves a bitter taste in peoples' mouths, as you can see from this thread. What, exactly, is the point of complaining about issues you disagree with, if you shouldn't complain about things you disagree with? The fact is, it doesn't not take this long to adjust the stat values of guns, and this is easily evidenced by the Mythoclast and Scout rifle adjustments. There's no excuse for it taking so long with the other guns that they purposefully announced over a month ago.

 • I am in no way missing the point. You are simply not seeing the wide perspective of the whole. As I stated, the two weapons they mentioned were not a priority. They did not change the overall game play, but rather a simple aspect. No, it does not take a lot of time to do, but that doesn't mean they already know exactly how they want to change it, otherwise it would have been done. They mentioned it so that people knew that it was planned and wouldn't just throw the weapons out thinking they will never have use. Rather than throwing a fit because your mommy didn't buy the candy bar you wanted and instead paid for a meal for you to have, be thankful that things are being done. If they said they will have it done by the end of the month, and it wasn't, then I could see you being upset. But the fact that they stated it would be by the end of the year, you are just acting like a spoiled child. Just because some people don't want to know about things until it is in the works and coming soon, doesn't mean there are those who like to know the plans for the future. If you have a problem with seeing information about things that will one day come, don't read it. No one forced you to look at them having mention of the changes now did they? Goes both ways there bud.

 • Seeing as how the majority of people in this thread agree with me and see my point, I don't think anything else needs to be said. PS. You're complaining about people complaining. What does that make you? PSS. Keep whiteknighting the multi-million dollar company, I'm sure they appreciate it. PSSS. People who resort to calling other people "kids" or "children" tend to be the children themselves, and lack any real substance to what they're trying to say.

 • The majority of people posting on this thread might feel the same, but that does not mean the majority of players. As for the complaining, I am not having complaints of anyone having any complaints, I am stating that having a complaint over something that was so simple has little point. As for the 'whiteknight' bit, that kind of made me laugh a bit. I have no care of trying to protect a company, I am simply here stating the facts that what they did effected a much larger scale than a simple 2 weapon change would have had. I know that they plan to change the Thorn and Bad Juju still, but they focused on the more pressing matters first. I am guessing you have never been in their type of situation though. I did not call you a kid, I stated that you were acting like one. There is a big difference. Someone that is 80 years old can act like a kid, though it does not mean they are one, it simply means they are being whiny. This was meant to just bring out some facts and statements that were presented, and show what was wrong about it, but it seems it turned in to something less than civilized, and with that said, I will be removing myself from further discussion. Good day.
