The issue with these exotics is they are utterly inferior to even blue equivalents until you can upgrade them. But getting to their signature perks are extremely painful. Base exotics need to be just as good as legendarys, and when you choose to unlock is signature perk, it should come with a downside, so as not to have op exotics... Like the suros already is.

When it comes to leveling exotics, I just equip them whenever I turn in bounties, and then put my usual set of gear back on the rest of the time. Rinse/repeat, and this makes the leveling process pretty painless.

You took a valid point and then called a precision gun OP ruining the whole point... Smh

ar's are not supposed to be precision guns. That is the realm of scout rifles and at shorter ranges pulse rifles. The SUROS is the most versatile weapon to user at any range, when the Intent of the AR was to be effective close to medium range. You should not be sitting across a map, wiping the floor with scout rifles because your weopon is essentially a fully automatic scout rifle in terms of headshot capabilities at range.

Pulse rifles aren't supposed to be full auto either yet the bad juju exists. Fusion rifles aren't supposed to fire like a scout let alone be a primary yet the VMC exists, shotguns aren't supposed to fire in full auto yet the invective does, they also aren't supposed to be primaries, yet the universal remote is. These are all exotics, they are unique as is the suros, as for the suros "sniping", they nerfed its stability too hard so no it cannot do that. It is accurate but it's stability can't handle long distance. Welcome to the world of exotics where the guns are unique
