I buy items (exotic gear and weapons) and I can sleep at night. I keep reading about people saying those items were not "earned". I disagree. If I work for 2 hours for a man, and he pays me in 1 sack of potatoes, would those potatoes be more "earned" compared to him giving me $5 and I take that to the store to purchase one sack of potatoes? It's the same in Destiny. I played the game but wasn't fortunate enough to be given a random exotic drop of whatever item I was hoping to get. Xur balances this and if I wait each week, that item I've been working/saving for might be on sale. I appreciate a good discussion.
