You can have no mic if you take directions well and know what your doing.... my group attempted a run with no communication (about the raid, we still joked about lives) and came out victoriously very easily even on hard.

This should be for hard mode. My friends and I complete normal raid in an hour or less and most of the time talking about random stuff with few call outs.
