Most importantly if I'm going to spend an hour or so with a group of people I want to be having fun. If the Fireteam can't even open the Vault without bitching and moaning, there is little point carrying on with them.
The biggest reason why you shouldn't Raid just yet is because it is buggy as hell. So unless you like running around without any weapons, being stuck in eternal teleport, having no sound except that of your own gun, having a Relic that doesn't work or having one or more of the Fireteam being sent back to orbit because they sneezed, don't Raid until Bungie have fixed all the bugs.
1. Level 25 = -25% damage, Level 24 = -50%, Level 23 = -75% & Level 22 -100% (ie you do 0 damage - hence impossible)
2. I've seen players without a Mic run the Raid without needing any instruction, and I've seen players with a Mic use it for nothing but bitching
3. Or you could just turn down your game volume so you can hear people
4. No one likes a dictator, every team members opinion is important and there are many different ways to complete each part of the Raid.
5. You should be able to complete a normal Raid within an hour. If someone leaves without a good reason, just don't do another Raid with them.
6. As long as each person pulls their weight, I don't care how they get the job done.
7. If you are not getting on with the team, replace people or find another group of more likeminded people.
