I did the raid without a mic. Well we didn't kill final boss bkuz 2 ppl had to leave and or fell asleep during breaks. But I didn't need a mic I just Listened to what I was told to do. Mic usage is not an option for me unless console can relay sign language somehow

I read your comment and honestly i never thought about that!!! Ever! Man, they really should do something for you guys. Like a ipad connected so you can write quickly or something like that! It maybe 1% of gamers but your as important as the other gamers. I would do it.

That's why I stick to PC games mostly like league, arms 2 and 3, dayz, mineccraft, and diablo.

Yeah i see. They should put something on this application that could help you, like a pre selected sentences or smtg like that. I dunno, lol, im thinking about that since i read your comment lol

You can get away with not having a mic, yes. But what if you are the only person who knows the way out of the Gorgon's cave? How will you get everyone to follow you? Sure, you might all make it there eventually. But how much quicker would you get out if you could just say, "Hey, guys, I've done this before, its this way."

Did you read his post. Also...why would they incorporate the "wave" and "point" gestures? This is made for those who may not be able to talk to the fire team.

You know - I was reading this and, this is just a thought, what if there was Kinect or Playstation application that was able to recognize ASL and convert it to speech? I don't know how practical it would be in a frantic game like Destiny, but it seems like this could be do-able. Just throwing it out there.

Would be nice but I doubt it would ever happen. Talking about a huge project development for maybe 1% of gamers

I'm in the same boat. If they did that, I would re-buy my Kinect 2 lol.. but given how hard it is for that thing to recognize whole arm movements, I shudder to think of how it would mangle ASL.
