The PVE part of the game is fine, I really enjoy it, even though it has it's issues at times. But it is the PVP side of this game that really started to make me hate this game. Now, I want to start off by saying that I don't want PVP gone because I suck at it. I generally do alright. My problems with PVP come almost entirely rooted in how broken it is. I don't mean there are a couple of minor things that are wrong, that wouldn't frustrate me enough to pull my dinosaur laptop out and let it boot up for 7 minutes with while I deal with countless errors. I mean that PVP in Destiny is so broken I long for the atrocity that is Call of Duty Ghosts.
Let's get the nice glaring ones out of the way first. Hunters. Seriously, Bungie? Who gave the go-ahead to put, essentially, God Mode, in a player versus player mode? Because that guy needs to get fired. Sure Titans and Warlocks can be a bit broken, I don't see them wipe 5 people at once regularly. I have killed Titans and Warlocks when they use their specials, I probably die doing so, but at least I get the kill. Hunters? Not a damn chance. When 5-6 people are all shooting at a single Hunter, who bounces around stabbing people like a Call of Duty wet dream, and not killing the him, you have a problem. I've hit them with primaries, specials, heavies, legendaries and exotics, grenades nothing I have kills them. My Fist of Havok doesn't do a damn thing. I almost want to make a Hunter for the sole purpose of going into the Crucible and getting BS free kills, but my self-respect isn't so low that I need to resort to such means for kills. I would apologize if this seems a little like I'm attacking the Hunters of the game, but honestly, I won't. As far as I'm concerned they sit in the back of the map and snipe or hide around the corner with a shotgun or fusion rifle until they can turn into a speed addled Micheal Myers and go stab happy. PVP shouldn't be about super abilities, it should be about the guns and the skill.
The second thing you need to change is the one that everyone keeps bringing up, the loot. I was trying to level up a different character today by doing bounties, and I happened to be doing crucible ones. I was in the top three using all white weapons. The dude at the bottom of the team who had a KD of like 0.7 ended up getting a Universal Remote. That's awesome. Oh, what did I get? I got a nice shiny nothing. How, how, how does this happen? Why should somebody who gets one or two kills and then dances in the middle of the map, IF they even get those kills, get any gear, while those of us that are trying to get the W for our team get air for our troubles? Come up with a viable system to give out loot. For instance, the top two from each team get at least two items guaranteed, 3 and 4 get at least one (but not more than the top two), 5 and 6 have a chance to get something. That would be fair and, I think, would make people happy. Because as it stands, there is no incentive for trying.
Third, melee attacks. Got no problem with them being in the game, even the super melee. The only real problem is that people use fists as their primary source of damage too often, when it should be more of a last resort. You ran out of bullets in your mag, and don't have time to switch weapons, you should punch. I'm not trying to tell people how to play their game, but if you want to go around punching things, it shouldn't routinely beat guns, you know, those things that get little bits of metal going really really fast.
I could easily go on, but I'm exhausted, and I'd like to go pass out. That said, PVP in this game is so terrible, that it should really be removed from the game until it is properly fixed. I'd like Crucible to be fun, but it just isn't. You get screwed if you are anything other than a Hunter. If you happen to do good you don't get anything for it. Please just pull it until it isn't a joke.

I agree with the statement that this version of destiny needs crucible. But the destiny we were promised would have been able to stand on its own. 34% is a high enough number that Bungie should pay attention and figure out that ppl want them to focus on PvE. Why are the rarest ships identical except for the paint job? Why does a balancing issue in pvp affect the PvE aspect of the game? Why is the great potential for a story locked in the grimoire and NOT in the game itself?
