I've noticed as of late that it's getting harder and harder for me to find a group of people who are willing to play through the raid on hard as intended, instead of using game exploits to beat the Templar and Atheon.
While you are free to play the game however you like, please explain to me what is the point of obtaining level 30 raid gear and weapons when all you are going to do is exploit the raid bosses for loot?
Your level in Destiny indicates your time invested in the game, not your skill
This is why you see high level players complaining on the forums that the Iron Banner is broken because they get killed by a level 8.
When in reality that level 8 is simply just a better player because he spends his time actually playing the game, not sitting in a raid waiting for the Warlock in your group to knock Atheon off the ledge so you can get your Vex Mythoclast.
If there is anyone out there who actually plays the raid for the challenge, one of the few actual challenging things in Destiny, hit me up on Xbox One, gamertag: SciA
enjoy the game

Edited by ManBearPigIets: 10/13/2014 11:14:21 PMI want to get to 30 so that I can actually play it on hard. I was planning on doing this through raid gear from the normal raid, which is quite easy to do for our group, yet we have 27's and 28's and have not been able to make it past the templar on hard. From what I can tell, there is no difference between the normal and hard raid gear, other than appearance. People who are able to play it on hard also get 3 other boss loot rewards througout the mission, if you have a regular group you beat it on hard with then you should obviously keep doing that, it's the better choice. Is your problem simply that you haven't been able to find a good group who can play through the whole raid on hard?
